Please, welcome my new project based on very liberated, shameless gurls.
My aim of #GURLSKISS is to help women find courage to express their true sexual needs, to expect and ask for pleasure, to be able to unshamedly live their lives to the fullest including vibrant sex.You might say that women are liberated and free to express however and whatever they want but the truth is that even in these day and time women still are being judged and shamed. Talking about sex and female pleasure is still often considered to be a taboo and sex is generally considered to be a man's domain.
I believe that sex is equally as important to us women as it is for men and I believe in true equality in bed (and anywhere else you wish). So why do I think my illustrations can play any role in that aspect? I want to convince women to say, share and talk about sex freely without feeling ashamed and I believe that portraying sex, orgasm, intimacy in a soft, pleasing to the eye form, will help women see that there is no shame in needs for pleasure.
Gurls Kiss are different women from various walks of life representing different intimate moments of finding that equality in pleasure. So even if I am doing it for myself only and it's a one woman's cause it is still my mission.
"The enemy is not lipstick but guilt itself; we deserve lipstick, if we want it and free speech; We deserve to be sexual and serious or whatever we please" Naomi Wolf.
I haven't consciously chosen 21.07.2017 as a begging of #gurlskiss because of #womensmarch and I only realized that it all works out as it was meant to be, now after seeing this quote somewhere online. It just has hit me straight in heart as it contains the essence of my mission. I want to promote equality and women's rights to sexual freedom with my art as a tool. In future you will be able to easily reckognize my project thanks to it's dedicated hashtags : #gurlskiss #thepleasureismine #womenaresexual .
